Ruben Petralli

 

Ruben Petralli was born in Lugano (TI) on 5 May 1981. Upon completing high school in Gravesano and junior college in Lugano, earning the maturity diploma in 2000, he studied law at the University of Basel, graduating in 2006.

 

During his university time he not only passed a parallel examination in political economics (“Volkswirtschaftslehre”) but he also authored two seminar papers: one on civil trial law and another one titled “Religion and Constitution”. From 2002 to 2003 he worked as a legal assistant in the Legal Department of the Office of Social Services of the Canton of Basel-Land. In 2007 he also earned the “First Certificate in English” at the University of Cambridge in Perth, Australia.

After law-clerking stints at the Second Civil Chamber of the Court of Appeals in Lugano and in the law offices of Bolla Bonzanigo & Associati, he was admitted to the Ticino Bar in 2009. Since then, Mr. Petralli has been working with this Firm.

Contract and business law, estate and family law, mandate and labor law, debt collection and bankruptcy law, tax law and trial law in general are his favorite fields of endeavour.
